Farmers' Markets in the Laughery Valley and Vicinity

Farmer's Markets create vibrant public spaces while having broader social impacts-from community development, to health and nutrition, to preserving family farms.  Your support keeps local food dollars in the community.

The Laughery Valley has many producers of fine quality vegetables, flowers, herbs, and crafts from local artisans.  There is no reselling or wholesalers allowed at the Laughery Valley Markets.  Visitors are invited to visit the local markets for the best in fresh, high-quality produce that is home grown!

FarmFreshCSA

FGA recognized the need for a CSA (community supported agriculture) in our community and the first seeds of its development were planted through FGA efforts.  FarmFreshCSA is now a project of the Laughery Valley Growers, Inc. (registered as a trade cooperative).  Although this coop does not receive financial support from FGA, we continue to promote the CSA and will be collaborating our efforts on future projects.

Rise and Shine at the Market

To promote the farmer's markets and interest in local foods, Margaret Mary Community Hospital and FGA hosted a fun morning for families at the Batesville Farmer's Market.  The event included games, prizes, a cooking demonstration and food tasting.
